Ruisseau nettoyé à Lixing-lès-Rouhling
L’association de pêche de Lixing-lès-Rouhling présidée par Kevin Jaming a organisé une opération de nettoyage du Lixingerbach, ruisseau particulièrement pollué par la prolifération de lingettes hygiéniques. Un fléau qui menace les poissons. Ce phénomène qui dure depuis une dizaine d’années ne cesse de s’amplifier. En 2020 95 % des déchets dans les 91 sacs-poubelles étaient des lingettes. Une vingtaine de bénévoles était présente en différents points du cours d’eau pour ce ramassage. Pour le président de la communauté d’agglomération Jean-Claude Hehn le Lixingerbach est un ruisseau de catégorie 1 avec de nombreuses espèces de poissons dont des truites, des chabots ou encore des vairons. Pour les protéger il est donc nécessaire d’être vigilant et de traiter les eaux qui s’y déversent.
